🎮 Roblox Cross-Server Chat Promises Connection - So Why Are So Many Players Left Out?

We’ve got some exciting updates this week, from Cross-Server Chat being introduced to Roblox (resulting in a not-so-great response) to new games (time to do magic in Wizard Alchemy!), as well as some long expected updates like Strongest Battlegrounds. If you haven’t checked out our previous Problox newsletters, here is what you missed.
Roblox Launches Cross-Server Chat, But Does it Work Everywhere? And What About Age Restriction?
Roblox has introduced Cross-Server Chat to ‘‘make communities feel bigger and more connected’’. However, the update itself is already disconnecting people. The Chat feature is regionally restricted in multiple countries. For players in such countries, this just means a whole lot of nothing.
Even for people who can access the feature, there hasn’t been a lot of chatting in games. Due to Age Restriction, you can only chat to people in your own age group, leading to lots of messages just going unseen, and lots of players unwilling to even attempt to chat with others on the Server (let alone across servers).
We can argue that in games like Sailor Piece where trading is a big part of culture, Global chat could be very useful. You could ask for a Devil Ring or Hogyoku Fragments without having to Server hop or endlessly grind for it. However, that’s not going to be the case in many games. So how useful is this update?

The Strongest Battlegrounds Coming in Strong With a New Cosmic Garou Update
We have been waiting patiently for quite a while now and we are finally graced with a Strongest Battlegrounds update of COSMIC proportions! A staple fighting game on Roblox, we can expect the Cosmic Garou update on Saturday 16, with hopefully no delays and a quicker update schedule (and not another year of wait).
Wizard Alchemy Off To A Great Start On Release
Crafting a Potion in Wizard Alchemy
Wizard Alchemy is a new RPG on Roblox where you set off on a magic journey from Muggle to powerful Wizard! If you’ve played Forge then you’ll definitely enjoy the way this game is set up, especially the crafting system. You’ll collect crafting materials by destroying plants, nests, as well as enemies like Goblins, Dwarves, and more! Then you’ll brew Potions in a cauldron, which includes a mini-game which you want to Perfect to get the best Spells.
You also get more powerful by getting better equipment like Wands and Robes, and of course, Wizard Hats. It’s a fun game with lots of progression and an index to complete, as well as many worlds to explore. If you enjoy magic, crafting, and collecting, this might just be a game for you.
