After many updates and restrictions to chat, Roblox is adding another new feature which could make communication between players of different ages easier (and non-risky). On top of that, it’s the start of Summer, which means lots of new events but also delays. Find out which games you can play this weekend and which ones you’ll have to wait for a little while longer. Roblox Adds New Chat Feature Quick Words
Roblox is preparing to launch a new feature called "Quick Words," which lets players send preset chat messages with a single tap instead of typing them out. According to Bloxy News, the feature is expected to go live as early as next week, and will allow all users (yes, even those who haven't completed age verification) to send these preset messages, which would be visible to players ages 9+.
While some of the phrases like "Attack," "Hold This Area," "Use ability," and "Fallback," are useful in shooter games, they aren’t going to be useful in RPs, Simulators, etc. Trade also isn’t a feature that’s available in all games. This is the main complaint on the Roblox Dev Forum, but Bloxy News reports that creators will also be able to add custom phrases to this menu for their specific games. If Roblox follows through on per-game customization, it could let developers curate a shortlist of quick phrases (one suggestion floated was capping it at ten approved options per game) rather than forcing every experience into the same generic chat menu. It could also allow for useful communication between players in different age groups without actual risk to kids.
Mythfall & Manhwa Legends Get Delayed - The Curse of Roblox Devs!
Roblox games often suffer a curse called ‘‘Delayed’’. While devs want to put out games quickly, they also need to think about the quality, which is what usually leads to these delays. While we agree that we want games to be as polished as possible, sometimes knowing that a game won’t come out on time can be annoying. This weekend, two big games that many were expecting Mythfall (MMO RPG) and Manhwa Legends (TD) got a delay to their release dates. So when can you play them? Both games should have a full release (hopefully with no further changes) on July 3, 2026.
