Hey Problox fans!
This week Roblox's automated moderation went off the rails โ legit games vanishing, appeals getting overturned by the same AI that approved them, and one dev getting an RDC invite while his account was being deleted. This is enough to get you pumped to play and get into Roblox as soon as you eat some 4th of July BBQ! Let's get into it. But first, donโt forget to check out our other Problox newsletters - here is what you missed.
Roblox AI Moderator Terminating Accounts!

Roblox has been leaning on an AI Moderator to scan games for red flags, and with millions of experiences on the platform, automating that job makes sense. The problem? It's taking games down left and right for no apparent reason โ so if you've noticed some of your favorites suddenly vanish, this is probably why.
Just how messy is it? Roblox dev @Ekenies had his game pulled, appealed successfully, got it back online, and then watched the AI take it down again for the exact same reason later that same day. To top it off, he'd been invited to RDC โ Roblox's own developer conference โ right as the system was busy deleting his account. Getting rolled out the red carpet and shown the door at the same time is a pretty rough look, and it's disheartening on both the dev and the player side.
He's far from alone. Notable casualties include Devil Hunter and Ultimate Tower Defense, though both managed to appeal their way back online. Still, when even invited, established creators are getting caught in the net, it's fair to ask whether the automation is causing more work than it's saving.

Yes, These Are Roblox Games!

Roblox pulled back the curtain on the first-ever Incubator cohort - 26 teams building what it calls "novel games," meaning new genres, mechanics, and art styles aimed at older players. It's a six-month program where established studios take a concept from prototype to finished game, with mentorship and resources from Roblox along the way. They showed off six of the projects, and there's some serious talent in here:
Octane (Ignition Switch) โ a sprawling open-world driving game with drifting, desert racing, and player-made tracks.
Sky Pixel (Pixel Count) โ a cozy 2D farming-and-building RPG from the team behind Pixel Quest.
Cosmic Carnage (Ghost Fox Games) โ a futuristic car-combat demolition derby, built by folks who've worked at EA, Unity, and Disney.
Fossil Force (Nibblebyte) โ a dinosaur-themed extraction shooter from the Be Dino devs, where the dinos are the real threat.
Drifters (Look North World) โ an extraction shooter founded by Alexander Seropian, the guy who started Bungie and created Halo. That's a big name landing on Roblox.
Aetherfall (Pixel Blaze Studio) โ an open-world RPG where players wield elemental powers unlocked by a mysterious phenomenon.
All of these should also benefit from the boosted DevEx rate when they launch later this year. Worth keeping an eye on, as this is Roblox openly courting the "grown-up games" crowd.
Perfect Timing: Roblox Is Overhauling In-Game Reporting

Funny timing given the main story: on July 1, Roblox announced a big revamp of its player reporting tools. The new flow adapts its questions to what you're actually reporting (skipping irrelevant steps), uses plain language, and now sends you a notification when your report leads to action โ something Roblox says it can confirm in about 99% of cases. Behind the scenes, a "flexible decision tree" routes reports straight to the right review team, and a persistent report inbox is coming in Q3.
The irony writes itself: Roblox is leaning harder into automated moderation and player-fed reporting to train its systems, right as devs are watching that same automation nuke games by mistake. Good context for readers, and it makes your main story land even harder.

New Games
Mythfall was delayed last week and again this week, now supposedly dropping Sunday. Still subject to change. Same case for Manhwa Legends. Fingers crossed!
