Welcome to your favorite Problox newsletter!
October is finally here, and Roblox is already that time-of-year scary. Halloween updates are already landing across the platform, and this weekend is so packed that it’s scary (pun inteded). If you only have time for one or two games, we've got you covered below. Before we start, be sure to like and subscribe to our YouTube channel. Also, don't forget to catch up on our other Problox newsletters. Are you ready? Let’s go!
Are You Ready For The Halloween Season?
The October has barely started, and Halloween festivities are already spreading across Roblox. Several big games are going spooky right away, with a lot of it landing between Friday and Sunday.
Adopt Me is the headliner. After the Monster Mansion house update arrived last week, the full Halloween event kicks off Saturday, October 3. Adoption Island is getting a Halloween makeover with a Carnival, a Hotel, and a Manor to explore, plus new pets, a new minigame, and event-only rewards.
Dandy's World didn't even wait for the weekend. Its Halloween Event returned on Friday, bringing back last year's spooky content with plenty of new additions: a new Halloween Floor, new skins in Gourdy's Shop, and three achievements you can only earn this season. A daily login calendar starts on October 7, so jump in early and don't break your streak.
Royale High players already have this year's Haunted Hollow halo to chase, and it sticks around until the winter halo replaces it in December.
Meanwhile, the Headless Horseman bundle is back in the Avatar Shop for 31,000 Robux. Yes, it's still that expensive. Yes, people are still buying it.
And the biggest question of all? Roblox itself. Right after The Hunt: Roblox 20 wrapped up, Roblox posted a teaser hinting that its own Halloween event is coming. There's no official name or date yet, so ignore any "leaked" dates you see floating around until Roblox confirms them. We'll tell you the moment it's real..
New Game to Try This Weekend: Beyond Nen
If you've ever wanted to earn your own Hunter License, Sunday is your day. Beyond Nen, an action RPG set in the world of Hunter x Hunter, launches on October 4 after slipping from its original summer target. You start on Whale Island, take on quests, and eventually attempt the Hunter Exam to unlock Nen and go pro. Once you're a Hunter, your reputation actually matters, getting you lower prices in shops and access to hidden quests in certain towns.
The build variety is where it gets interesting. You roll for a race (like human or chimera ant), a lineage that grants an inherited ability you can evolve at level 30, and one of six Nen types to shape your fighting style. There are no codes yet since the game isn't out, but we're tracking them on our Beyond Nen codes page and will add every one as soon as it drops.
