Roblox wants to link you up with your actual classmates now, and the community isn't exactly thrilled. We've also got Steal an Egg dodging a ban, a new Doors update, and a pirate RPG to close out your weekend. Let's get into it. Weekend Play: This Update & New Game Are Worth Your Time

Roblox Doors "Archive Subfloor" - Doors is coming back with a whole new subfloor where you’ll get to escape some brand new entities, use 10 new items, and explore new locations. This new Subfloor can be accessed through the Lobby, and all other Subfloors will now be permanently free so long as you have discovered them!

Grand Blue - If you’re looking for a new One-Piece game to play, then this one is releasing just in time. Grand Blue is a pirate RPG that “will keep expanding over time,” according to the official FAQ. In early access, you’ll get to explore various islands, collect Cursed Fruits, test out different fighting styles, complete quests, etc. This all seems pretty familiar, but the devs are standing by the fact that their game is different from the rest. We’ll just have to test it out ourselves this weekend!

Roblox Is Testing School Friends Feature, and Players Aren't Sold

Roblox is quietly testing a way to find your actual classmates, starting with select high schools and colleges in Nevada and expanding to Alabama next week. You verify through your school email, and it stays hidden from everyone else, visible only to verified students from the same school.

The community's reaction is less hype and more side-eye, and it's almost entirely about privacy. The top worry is exactly what you'd expect: if a classmate list is visible to anyone, players are calling it the fastest way to get doxxed by the wrong person. Others are questioning the trade entirely, asking whether they'd really hand over their real-world school just to unlock some cosmetic.

And of course the jokes wrote themselves, with plenty of players noting the irony that opening Roblox on the school wifi is a great way to get banned in the first place. We’ll see the testing results, but for now, it seems that every "connect with people you know" feature wants a little more of your real life to work.
